Apple Orchard

If you follow along with Louella Reese on instagram (which you should!) you received a few little sneak peeks into Josh and I’s weekend in Asheville, which kicked off at an Apple Orchard in Hendersonville. We spent the afternoon exploring the orchard, picking apples for an apple pie, tasting all their sweet goodies, and rocking on the big front porch. The perfect way to start our weekend away! Let me just tell you about these sweet treats though 🙂 Josh had an apple fritter which he said was delicious and considering the fact it was gone in about two minutes I’m thinking it had to be really good. I went with a caramel apple oatmeal cookie that was seriously to die for, I’ve dreamt about this creation since that very first bite! I also gave the famous apple cider slushy a try. YUMM! Definitely recommend giving those two indulging treats a try.

Anyways, moving on to the important stuff, fashion! The weather changed drastically this weekend, no more 70/80 degree days here! So I packed on the layers starting with a long sleeve turtleneck, this one is perfect for layering as it’s pretty thin, stretchy, and fits easily under pretty much everything. Then added my favorite poncho (so comfy, under $30) that I think is a must have in every one’s closet! Paired with my favorite corduorys, finished off with my trusty ole boots which were the best for walking around the orchard.
