Tissue Turtleneck

Today I’m teaming up with my #SBS Charleston roomies. Also two of my blogger besties. I absolutely love these two gals. They are my sanity when blogging just becomes too much, there whenever I need fashion advice or tips, and always provide great entertainment with their snapchats. Without further adieu I present Corbin from Classy South Blog and Emily from The Style Hunter. We’ve teamed up to share three different ways to style an “it” item for the fall season…a turtleneck tee. This one from J.Crew is tissue thin aka perfect for layering! Check out our three different looks below and head to their sites {Corbin and Emily} for more details.J.Crew Blogger Collab, J.Crew Tissue Turtleneck, Fall Style, Blogger Style

I decided to go the preppy route and pair my turtleneck with a cable knit sweater, mini skirt, and smoking loafers. Side note I absolutely love smoking loafers, I mean how sophisticated does that sound? The turtleneck added just the right amount of extra warmth while also completing the look. I don’t think the combo would look pulled together without it! Also as you know I LOVE pattern mixing so when choosing my look I knew I wanted some sort of pattern paired with the turtleneck. Thankfully I hadn’t packed away this skirt from summer just yet. With the darker hue and paired with a chunky sweater I say it works just fine for the slightly warmer fall days. Also would love it paired with burgundy tights + booties with the same sweater and turtleneck. So my takeaway, it’s good to not pack away those summer pieces too early 😉 aka perfect excuse to not clean out your closet haha. What would y’all pair with this tissue turtleneck?
