Gift Exchange x Vera Bradley

Vera Bradley, Gift Exchange, Blogger Holiday Happenings, Louella Reese Style

I am so excited to start a new series today with some of my fabulous blogger babes – Julie Leah, Emily, and Kristyn. I met all of these gals at SBS in May and have since become great friends with each of them. I’m not kidding when I say one of the BEST things about blogging is the friends you make! May sounds cheesy but it is very true! This holiday season we’ll be teaming up for the next three weeks to share looks for different holiday occasions.

For today we’ve teamed up with Vera Bradley to share four looks perfect for a gift exchange with your gals! It is so fun to see how each of us have styled our handbags and what gift exchange means to us {in terms of an outfit}. Since it is a gift exchange, each of us will be gifting a Vera Bradley throw to one of our readers. To spice things up a bit instead of asking y’all to follow each of us or do a bunch of different things on social media, we decided to gift it to someone who has been extra supportive of our blogs individually. So stay tuned to see who’s the lucky gal!

To me gift exchange with the gals means grabbing dinner and sipping a glass of champagne or too. It involves a whole lot of catching up and endless laughter! With that said I choose a dress I’ve had in my closet for quite some time that has a slightly festive pattern {in my opinion}. It’s comfortable, offers a bit of warmth with the sleeves, and is dressy without being too much. Layered in the perfect wrap coat {seriously this thing is the best and under $40} that pulls everything together and will keep you warm for the dash between your car to the restaurant. Topping it off with an uber chic leather quilted handbag. Big enough to fit a small gift into {for the exchange 🙂 duhh}. I’m slightly obsessed with the top handle on this bag. There’s something very vintage about the top handle and quilted leather. I do believe it’s a bag that will never go out of style and always look chic when paired with just about anything. Even a laid-back look {see here}.

Come back next Thursday for another edition of Holiday Happenings and to see what Julie, Emily, Kristyn, and myself have up our sleeves!
