So as I’m sure most of you know {and/or experienced yourself} the east coast was hit with a pretty big snow storm this past weekend. While Charlotte usually closes down with even the possibility of a little snow or ice this time it was legit and we actually experienced both ice and SNOW! My office {along with my of Charlotte} closed down Friday which meant an amazing day cozied up inside with some of my favorite people. Then a little snow day adventure Saturday!

Corbin from Classy South Blog aka my blogger bestie came to visit Friday to Sunday. Aka there was a WHOLE lot of photos taken, blogging done, and collaborations planned. Our third amigo, Emily from The Style Hunt, had planned to join as well but sadly winter storm Jonas prevented that 🙁 not cool Jonas, not cool.

Saturday once the roads had cleared a bit we ventured out to J’s house and explored the historic side of downtown where we snapped these photos. I’d like to say we played in the snow but nah! Too cold and too icy. Legit almost fell 10+ times. Not the best ice walker around haha. I have to say I’m a little bummed we didn’t get more snow though. There’s something so beautiful about everything being covered in the white powder. Fingers crossed we get hit again in February {people in the upper east coast, don’t kill me for saying that}.

P.S. I know Uggs had their moment when we were in college aka {2008-2012} then kind of disappeared. As in only being worn when it was beyond freezing and not when trying to look cute. I think they’re having a moment again though and honestly I’m not upset about it one bit. I honestly forgot how cozy they are and not to mention warm. I may or may not have worn them to the bar Saturday night {don’t judge me} it was freezing and everything was still snow covered!
