This past weekend my mom and I headed to Charleston to officially pick out and purchased my wedding dress {eeekk!}. If you follow me on instagram {@louellareese} you saw a little peek at the boutique where it all happened and heard a bit about my experience. Finding “The One” is one of those incredible life moments I hope all gals get to have! I was overcome by emotion thinking of Joshua seeing me in this beautiful creation for the first time. Ahh I cannot wait!! There will be more about the experience {a funny little story} and the dress to come soon!

I originally picked up this dress to wear for our engagement photos but we couldn’t quite find the right combo for Joshua to wear from his closet so it didn’t make the cut. But it was far too pretty to pass up! From the embroidered detail to the fun {and sassy} illusion. While wearing this in Charleston several people did a double take at the illusion part…think those people might have those there was nothing under there {blushing emjoi haha} but great news…there is!

The color couldn’t be prettier and provides quite the pop of color. I decided to pair it with black accessories for something a little different and since we’re still typically in “winter” I thought it was a bit more appropriate for the transitional time. Styling this for spring will be a blast though! I’m imagining a super lively clutch.
