Last month Joshua and I headed to Dahlonega, GA for a friends wedding. It is one of the sweetest little mountain towns in GA. The wedding was also the sweetest, so many adorable details. Definitely inspired me to step up our decor a bit. The downtown though is a square full of shops, little restaurants, and several dessert shops (yes we HAD to get ice cream). Joshua and I spent the afternoon after the wedding walking around and exploring. And hubby to be surprised me by buying me this dress! Now every time I look at this dress I think of Dahlonega and the great time we had just the two of us walking around the sweet town.

I don’t know about you but I’m all about really easy dresses come summer time. One because it’s so stinking hot and two because they’re obviously super easy to wear haha! All you have to do it throw on a couple accessories and you’re good to go. With this dress for a sweet date night look I paired my new go to flatforms and a blush tone kate spade handbag to bring out the pink in the dress.

I also think the dress would look really cute paired with simple sandals and a field jacket.
