Chambray Summer Skirt

Chambray Skirt, J.Crew Style, Target Does It Again, Backpack, Vera Bradley Backpack, Karen Walker Number One Sunglasses

sweater: old navy {similar} // tee: j.crew {on sale} // skirt: target // sandals: jack rogers // backpack: c/o  vera bradley // watch: michael kors // sunglasses: karen walker via ditto {use code LOUELLA for your first month free}

Another look perfect for weekends filled with running errands, grabbing brunch, and exploring your own town or somewhere new and exciting. While the sweater is far too hot for days here in NC it’s perfect for the evenings where the temps are just slightly cooler. This past weekend we experience the perfect weather of 85 degrees during the day {with no humidity} and around 75ish degrees in the evening. While to most this would still be warm enough for bare arms, I was in need of a little coverage {and warmth. So a light pullover sweater was a must.

When blogging I feel like it’s hard to not be influenced by other bloggers. You see their instagrams or blogs and think they’re perfect! So you think I need to dress more like them or I need to incorporate more of that in my style. That’s not true though! People are drawn to those that have an excellent personal style. One that truly reflects their personality, not someone else’s.

I feel like it’s really easy to see when someone repetitively copies another blogger. While imitation is the highest form of flattery, right? It’s not a way to express yourself completely. When I first started Louella Reese I definitely felt I needed to dress a certain way or include certain pieces in my posts but now I feel as though I have finally found my personal style and what I feel more comfortable {and pretty} in. So you may notice a lot of my looks recently kind of “go together” in a way. These looks are a pure reflection of my style and what I love! I hope y’all love them or at least like them haha. I would love to hear what you think though…comment below or feel free to email me {[email protected]}.
