Nashville Packing List

Since I can remember my mom and I have been sneaking away for gal getaways! Whether it’s weekend drive to our favorite little southern town {Charleston} or down south to Cancun or up North pounding the pavement in NYC or Chicago. We have taken so many amazing trips and I am SO thankful for each and every one of them plus all of the crazy memories we have made. Since I’m getting married in just over 5 months {130 days y’all!} my mom decided we needed one more gals getaway before I become a Mrs. and surprised me with tickets to Nashville {AHHHHH}.

Travel, Nashville, I believe in nashville, what to pack for nashville, nashville packing list

So we are country music city bound! I can barely contain my excitement for this trip. Nashville is by far one of my favorite places. There is so much exploring to do, delicious food to taste, the serious chance of running into one of my favorite country singers, and not to mention the largest selection of honky tonks!

I’ve complied a list of items I will absolutely be taking with me. Some items I’ve already purchased for the trips and others I wouldn’t mind sneaking into my suitcase!

Easy Dresses – Dresses for me are a must every vacation. They’re so easy to pack and the easiest for putting a look together. Just add a couple accessories and you’re good to go! Also the easiest to take from day to night with a simple change of shoes and handbag!

Sandals – With the temps rising and only hotter in Nashville than here in Charlotte, sandals are a must! Not to mention they’re perfect for pairing with all of those easy dresses I plan on packing.

Sneaks – I don’t know about you but I like to spend a huge part of my vacations exploring. From restaurants to boutiques to must hit local spots, I want to see it all. Therefore there will be lots of walking going on. So a great pair of sneaks are definitely needed.

Cowboy Boots – Do I even need to explain why these are coming with me?

Light Jacket/Sweater – a couple sweaters and a light jacket is definitely necessary for those cooler evenings and chilly restaurants.

Denim {lots of denim} – Another item I feel is a must when going to Nashville. Maybe get a little Canadian tuxedo going! I’ll absolutely be bringing my chambray, jeans, and hopefully the jumpsuit below from J.Crew, I am obsessed!

Hat – With all of the exploring we’ll be doing I’ll definitely need some coverage for my face. This summer I am all about the panama hat with a slightly wider brim. I also have a serious addiction to hats right now and just want to add every one of them to my collection!

Handbag – a handbag is obviously needed. For me I’m all about a super easy cross body when traveling. It leaves the hands free for shopping, sipping something refreshing, and whatever else I’ll be picking up.I’ll also probably take my Vera Bradley backpack.

If you have any restaurant, entertainment, or boutique recommendations please email me {louellareese.com} or comment below. I would love any and all recommendations for must hit spots!
