It should come as no shocker to y’all that while Corbin, Emily, and myself were in Atlanta we stopped by Tupelo Honey. Tupelo Honey was our favorite stop on our Asheville trip that we absolutely could not pass up the opportunity to go again. This time we switched it up a bit though and went for dinner rather than brunch. Y’all I can’t wait to tell you about all we indulged in!

This time we decided to grab a bunch of small dishes and share. We didn’t want to walk away barely able to move as we had the previous time ha. First up was Pimento Cheese Nachos and Crispy Brussels. Y’all I am beyond obsessed with brussels sprouts so I knew I HAD to have this dish. They did not disappoint. I’m pretty sure I ate 75% of the dish myself. They were perfectly crisp and seasoned with a sweet buttermilk ranch dressing. The nachos were straight sinful. So you know they were good! Loaded down with pimento cheese, chorizo, black eyed-peas, salsa, and fresh jalapeños. I love a good kick and the jalapeños definitely provided that. Plus you can never go wrong with scratch made pimento cheese.

After splitting those two we ordered SC Pecan Encrusted Goat Cheese, Jumbo Honey Chipotle Wings, Watermelon Salad, and Southern Seafood tacos. OMG the goat cheese! AH-mazing! The cheese came with figs, crostini, and grilled apples. This dish is a MUST whenever you find yourself in a Tupelo Honey. The goat cheese is hands down one of the best appetizers I have ever had! I’m honestly kind of drooling thinking about it right now.

The watermelon salad was per my request and I’m not going to lie, it even surprised me how good it was! The watermelon was sweet and juicy, just like it’s suppose to be. While the spicy arugula offered a nice little shock. Then a honey yogurt sauce was poured over along with candied basil. All of these items could not have paired together any better! Matter a fact, I’ll take the goat cheese and watermelon salad now please!

Lastly, we had to order dessert. I mean we had to right? You can’t have a gals meal without ordering dessert. That would just be wrong! So we made use of the little room we had left in our stomaches and ordered Drunken Strawberry Shortcake. The strawberries were definitely drunk and none of us were even the slightest bit upset about it! The strawberries were soaked in prosecco…how fun is that? The base was a sugared biscuit {their biscuits are legit the best} and it was ideal pairing for the drunken strawberries. While also being the perfect finish for our incredible meal.
