We’re all indulging quite a bit right now. Right? Or is that just me? With the holiday season it’s easy to have cookies a reach away and heavy meals with family + friends a couple times a week. With Christmas parties and family meals there are endless amounts of food plus drinks. After the holiday season, I am ready to cut back and get clean. Now I don’t do this as an extreme “I’ll never have a sweet treat again” kind of thing but more of a let’s make moves to be healthier and supply my body with the right kind of nutrients.
Cooking at home is always a great way to do this. Additionally, hitting up a Juice Bar here and there helps get those nutrients in you require in a healthy + easy way. I personally am addicted to smoothies, acai bowls, and juices. Recently though I haven’t been going quite as often due to all those items listed above. I’m pretty ready to get back to that diet though!

My absolute favorite at Juice Bar is Cocoa Banana {yum} chocolate, banana, and peanut butter. What more could you want? I also really love PB&J which legitimately tastes like a PB&J sandwich. Joshua is a big fan of that one as well. The CACACACAO is one I’ll be trying next! You can check out the full menu here. As well as all their locations here.

I don’t typically do New Year’s resolutions, because it’s sort of the kiss of death for anything I want to do. I do want to continue reading more books than I did the year beforeāusually a good goal, and one that helps in personal life, stress, and professional life.
