Happy FriYAY! First off, I want to say thank you for all of your kind words over the last few days. I really appreciate y’all’s support after sharing Monday’s post. I am so excited to start this new chapter! This week has already been filled with lots of learning, updating, and changes. And I am loving it all! As promised, I have something new for y’all, a new series. After completing my reader survey a few months back, I found out y’all weren’t the biggest fans of Wish List Wednesday. So out with the old and in with the new, The Louella List. This series will include must have items. This may be must have items for the current/upcoming season, a certain style, an event, or from a specific sale going on.

The Louella List is a series that will hopefully make shopping easier for y’all while also sharing new brands, new looks, and new ideas. Please share your thoughts below with a comment on the new series and as I share it more often, I’d love to hear what you think.

Easy to throw on sweater: While the temps are being a little bipolar a easy to throw on cardigan is a must! Mornings/evenings tend to be chilly while afternoons are crazy hot. Therefore having a cardigan you can toss on walking into and out of work is essential. Go with one in a neutral shade. That way it’ll be easy to pair with a majority of your closet.

Bright statement earrings: Have some fun with your baubles and grab a pair of bright statement earrings. Big earrings are definitely going to be seen everywhere this spring and summer. Whether they’re tassels, beaded, fringe, or poms – they’re going to be popular. I say scoop up at least one pair in your favorite hue.

Espadrille wedges: As if you haven’t seen these wedges everywhere already. Sorry but they’re not going anywhere. These beauties are the “IT” shoe of the spring season. Perfect for pairing with denim {see here} now and dresses + skirts later. I personally own these and have to tell you, they’re surprisingly comfortable! Also, they legitimately go with just about everything. Here is an extremely similar pair for half the price

Graphic Sweatshirt: One of the biggest trends going on right now! Another item that’s great for throwing on when those temps dip. As shown in the photo above the sweatshirt looks nice paired with a simple oxford and denim but could also be thrown over a dress or paired with a skirt.

White sneaks: White sneaks have kind of been the thing the last couple spring/summer seasons and it seems they’re here again this year. I’ve tried Converse, Old Navy, and Keds. Out of the three, this Converse pair is my favorite. They’re easy to dress up or down and have obviously stand the test of time as the brand has been around for decades {since 1917 to be exact}.

Midi skirt: The midi length is BIG this year! Something about the length just screams brunch and afternoon tea to me. Two things I absolutely love. Therefore, I’m not too upset about this midi trend. I say pick one in a neutral hue and one in a total fun, unique pattern.

White high-waisted denim: High-waisted denim is IN! Another trend I can totally get behind {aka am obsessed with}. Spring cries for us to start pulling out our white items. So grab a pair of high-waisted white denim and rock them to work, brunch, or date night stat!

Floral top: This one should come as no surprise. Floral is pretty big every spring season. This one is no different. Sweet floral tops are really in! You’ll be seeing these pop up everywhere. Think romantic with feminine details. Great to pair with your high-waisted white denim or midi skirt

Overalls: You may have seen these on my instagram a little over a week ago. If not you saw them above haha. I’m OBSESSED with them and cannot wait to share two looks where I’m wearing them in the next week-two weeks. Overalls are SO comfortable and make getting dressed incredibly easy. Go for a more fitted pair if you’re going to do the pants version. If you’re going for the shorts, a looser fit is better.

Necktie: This sweet little accessory has been pretty popular throughout winter and is holding strong this spring season. I for one just jumped on board this week, picking up this little beauty here. A necktie is a great way to spice up your accessories and give your outfit a real polished off look.

Loafers: Loafers are again a trend that’s been around for a couple seasons now that isn’t going anywhere fast. In fact, they’re just getting more exciting and fun. Spring loafers are loaded with patterns, details, and a variety of textures. Have fun with your footwear and pick up a snazzy pair of loafers.

I agree with you on every single one of these items! Looove dungarees and oversized jumpers. Also I live in white Converse and have been loving midi skirts!

Glad you’re a fan of all of them as well! I’m thinking we should both pair our white converses with a midi skirt!

I really want to jump on the band wagon with overalls but I am still a little fearful. You styled them so chic and I think I should also give them a try!

You should definitely give them a try Beth! I was the same as you and these ones completely changed my mind.
