Pink Chinos for Spring

How I’m styling pink chinos for the spring season!

When I spotted these pink chinos I instantly rummaged to find my size and bolted to the fitting room. The color is pure sprint time perfection. I was also really looking for a break from blue jeans. While I’d love to say I’m wearing dresses everyday, the weather just really isn’t up for that quite yet. Yesterday was a perfect example of this as the high 73 but the sky was full of clouds and the wind was blowing! Aka my legs needed coverage and warmth. So out came this peppy pair of pink chinos. Tell me they don’t instantly brighten your day?

To style these beauties, I went with a pretty neutral color palette. An ivory sweater {last seen here} and spring’s must have wedges. These two items really allowed the chinos to take center stage and make the statement. I also felt anything with a colored pattern may make the whole look appear childish. So I instead added some extra excitement with my accessories.

I have been dying to try out the necktie trend really didn’t feel it was one I could pull off. But after trying them on every time I spotted one in a store, I decided to give it a go with this simple blue & white one. I have to say, I don’t hate it! Will it be my every day go to accessory, no BUT I think you’ll be seeing it pop up here and there.

Additionally, I added this statement bag that I’m totally crushing on right now. Between this bag and the pink chinos I’m feeling full on spring!

So my tip for styling brightly colored chinos is to keep it neutral with your other articles of clothing and have fun with your accessories.
