Where I Went: This month my mom and I headed to Chateau Elan Winery & Resort in Georgia. We went for three days and each day was full of wine, time at the pool, and tasty food. Next week, I’ll be sharing a full review of the Winery & Resort + our itinerary. So stay tuned! You can see a couple of my looks from the trip here, here, and here.

Joshua and I flew to Norwalk, Connecticut to reunite with some of our college besties for Memorial Day weekend. Once or twice a year our college “family” plans a big get together. It’s always the BEST time! Nothing like talking about college days, pretending you’re living them again, and being surrounded by some of your favorite people.

We also had a short little getaway to Greenville, SC. While it was a short trip, it was definitely one to remember. We attended an Eric Church concert and had the opportunity to MEET him!! Y’all, he may be good looking in concert, on television, and in magazines BUT he’s SO good looking up close and personal!

What Movies Watched:
Live by Night – Pretty good. Kind of slow moving in some parts but overall interesting!
The Finest Hours – I really liked this movie! Similar to Live by Night it was a little slow in some parts but overall really great. The acting by Casey Affleck and Chris Pine was spectacular.
Patriots Day – Extremely powerful! This movie is based on the Boston Marathon bombing. I love how this movie really focuses on the strength of Boston and how the community came together after such a terrible attack.

Recipes Tried:
Baked Balsamic Chicken – tastes like you’re dining in a snazzy restaurant. I cut up the chicken and served it over a bed of arugula and roasted vegetables.
Mediterranean Couscous Salad – this is basically my dream meal! And it was a dream to eat. So fresh and delicious! A great healthy summer dinner option.

TV Shows Watched/Watching: Still watching all of the same shows: Scandal, Grey’s Anatomy, and Brothers & Sisters. Scandal and Grey’s Anatomy wrapped in May though so those will be on hold till the fall. Also, still overly obsessed with Brothers & Sisters. I’m currently on season four with just a couple episodes left to go. Then it’s season five, which sadly is the last season. I seriously don’t want it to end!
