Every gal needs a pink dress. I’m pretty sure it’s an unwritten rule. If Elle Woods had her way though, I’m sure it’d be a written rule and definitely in the top five. So let’s honor the ever fabulous Elle and make sure we all have a pink dress in our closet!

This sweet little pink dress would be a great one to add! It’s feminine, fun, and the prettiest shade of blush pink. A shade that can be worn for numerous occasions and seasons. Which is something I think about when picking out dresses. I want to know I won’t wear it once, for one occasion, and then throw it in the back of my closet.

To highlight the versatility of this pink dress, I wanted to share two ways I would style it. One is more on the dressed up side – think bridal shower, engagement party, wedding, or work event. The other is a little more casual – great for brunch, date night, birthday party, or dinner with friends.

For the dressed up look, I went ultra girly with a pink mini bag and pink drop earrings. I love how these two items play up the feminine feel of the dress. While also making the color pop even more. Finally, for shoes, I choose my go to neutral sandals. They go with everything and are SO comfy! Great for dancing the night away.

To dress down, the pink dress, I layered on a simple denim jacket. A closet/wardrobe staple! A denim jacket instantly takes the dress down a notch or two. To add a playful touch, I grabbed a basket bag. The basket bag is definitely more casual than the pink mini bag. This bag was made for summer days!

Which look is more your style? Your favorite?
