Hey from Duck NC! Joshua and I are still in the southern beach town soaking up some final rays before making our way back to Charlotte tomorrow. We have loved living the relaxed beach life for the last week! I apologize for no post via Louella Reese Tuesday or Thursday but I decided to disconnect a bit and really take a break. Promise I’ll be back next week with lots of new and exciting posts + start diving into fall content. Lots of fall looks coming your way! Until then, I wanted to share a quick little Instagram round up from our trip with posts from last Friday to this morning {you’re getting a sneak peek}. Soon, I’ll share a detailed travel guide, in case you’re headed this way sometime soon or next summer.
How pretty is this house? Duck NC is full of blue and white homes. I am truly in paradise right now! I also, now have a full collection of blue and white home photos on my phone. Beware, they’re coming for y’all via IG haha.

I wore this combo for a day trip to Bodie Island Lighthouse and some exploring with Joshua. Seriously couldn’t stop wearing this baseball cap. It’s only $25 and comes in 12 different colors!
More donuts! We all couldn’t get enough Duck Donuts! I had to have eaten at least five #whoops. They’re amazing! By far my most favorite donuts.

Beach look! I mentioned this on IG but seriously, I could live in this one piece. So comfortable, easy to wear, and provides full coverage. It was a lucky find at J.Crew on super sale but I did link on above that is super similar and also on sale.

Another look at my day full of exploring outfit. The popover is also a favorite of mine. While this color combo isn’t available. There is a super similar one that is. If you haven’t given a popover a try, I highly recommend the style. Very comfortable and easy!

I scooped up this robe right before we headed out. The perfect medium weight for transiting into the fall season. Of course I love the color too! In stores it’s half off, just FYI!
Happy Friday y’all! Are you headed somewhere fun this weekend or watching some football? We’ll be cheering on UNC-Charlotte at their first home game this season tomorrow after we get home. Other than that, we’re going to be doing laundry and cleaning house. So exciting haha.
