Spring seems to be teasing us a bit. Even though it’s a little early in the year to start, the new season has made a few appearances.
This week isn’t quite as warm as it has been {here and there} but we are seeing low to mid sixties almost every day, here in Charlotte. Knock on wood that continues and the temperatures only go up from there! With these little peeks of the new season, it’s time to start transitioning our closets. Not too much as some days are still a bit chilly! But little tweaks will have us looking ready for the season, even on those cooler days. Last week, I talked about how to jump from winter to spring when it’s still cold. And today, I’m chatting about one specific item {white jeans, obviously haha} that’ll help make that transition extremely easy!

While the temps may be rising for some of us, there are still several chilly days ahead before it is full on spring. Meaning while we may be ready for spring {and to pull out/buy all things spring} we still have to dress for the temperatures. One great item to reach for that’ll have you looking spring but staying warm, white jeans! They’re the perfect transition piece to completely change your look! Go from dark {with your typical denim} to light and airy in no time.
Swapping out your typical darker denim {or even lighter wash} for white denim will instantly make you look a little more spring! Especially when paired with lighter colors, as I have in today’s look! Reach for colors that make you think of spring, pastel pinks, blues, purples, etc..
White denim also has a way of looking a little more dressed up then you typical dark wash denim. Therefore, you’ll look every bit of spring and even more put together. Who doesn’t love that?!
While in NYC earlier this month, I wanted to start incorporating a little spring into my wardrobe. I also knew I’d be sharing my looks from the trip in the coming weeks {aka not all right away}. Therefore, it would be closer to the spring season and I needed to dress appropriately! So I grabbed my new pair of white jeans {they’re so comfy and the fit is amazing} and paired them with some lighter hued items. Give me all the blush pink and blue! Doesn’t the look give up spring vibes? Even though I’m perfectly layered for the cooler temps. Imagine how different this outfit would look if I paired the white jeans with a navy coat and beret. You’d definitely be experiencing more winter vibes. So pull out your white jeans and take a cue from this post, choose lighter colors!
