Where I Went:
Tuscaloosa, Georgia – I mentioned a little about this trip on Monday {see here}. We were there for a week {March 18-25} to be with Joshua’s family.
Carolina Beach, North Carolina – We are beach bound today to spend Easter weekend with Joshua’s family. I could not be more excited for a true vacation and some time relaxing time away. Fingers crossed temperatures rise and we can soak up some rays!
Movies Watched:
Wonder – A must see movie! Such a strong story and incredible acting! Just be sure you have some tissues by your side.
I, Tonya – I had really high hopes for this movie! Several people told me how good it was. Well I am sad to report, it’s not that good. Neither, Joshua or myself really enjoyed it.
Recipes Tried:
Peanut Butter Oatmeal Breakfast Bars – Skipped the chocolate chips. They were honestly just okay. Will try a different recipe next time.
Maple Cinnamon Baked Oatmeal – Joshua and I had baked oatmeal in Tuscaloosa and were both obsessed. I decided to give it a try myself when we were back home. So tasty and a great quick breakfast option.
Mini Meatloafs – Meatloaf is one of Joshua’s favorite comfort foods, so I try to make it whenever he’s had a tough day or needs a little pick me up. These mini meatloafs are so quick and easy! He was a big fan of them.

Reading:
I am still reading 5 Minutes with Jesus: Peace for Today and again, really loving it! For bible study, we are still reading Craving Connection: 30 Challenges for Real-Life Engagement. I am still finding it to be amazing and we have just four chapters left.
TV Shows Watched/Watching:
We finished up watching Waco. Which ended way different then I had expected and truly broke my heart. If you haven’t watched or aren’t currently watching, I highly recommend it. I’ve heard there’s another documentary based on the event and I am planning on watching it ASAP.
Still watching Scandal and Grey’s Anatomy. Still not liking Scandal very much. Although the last two episodes have been a little better! Grey’s Anatomy has been incredibly entertaining though. I can’t believe Kepner and Arizona will be leaving though. Super sad about Kepner. I love her! What are your thoughts about the two ladies leaving?

I’m still watching Grey’s (committed fan since the beginning!!) and I’m upset that they are getting rid of Kempner and Arizona. There is basically no one left from the beginning! I use to LOVE Scandal but now I have 3 episodes waiting for me to watch because I just can’t get into it!
