So I thought it was only appropriate for me to share what I’ll be wearing during these travels. Whether we’re traveling via a car or a plane, I am all about being comfy, cozy and warm. Planes are always freezing and 90% of the time if you’re traveling with a guy, they’re going to have the air in the car 10 degrees cooler than you’d like it to be. Therefore, cozy pieces with a little warmth are necessary. Which is why I quickly jumped on this matching loungewear look from Versona! Easily my new go to outfit for comfy, cozy fall travel style! Best part, both pieces are under $35! You can’t beat that price for such comfy, stylish pieces. Not only are they both great for travel but also for lounging around at home or styling separately for everyday wear. The hooded poncho would look adorable with a striped tissue turtleneck underneath and your go to denim. Or styled with camo for a trendier look. While the joggers would be perfect with a cute thermal top and denim jacket.
To complete the fall travel look, I added the cutest southern girl baseball cap – you know the hair isn’t always up to par on travel days! As well as simple white sneakers. Both keep the casual vibes going while the sneakers provide extra comfort too!
If you aren’t traveling, this athleisure look is still right on trend and perfect for running errands, hiking with friends, or a casual afternoon at your favorite local brewery. Athleisure has been quite popular for a few years now and it doesn’t seem to be going anywhere. And I’m not one bit upset about it, you?
5 Ways to Stay Comfy, Cozy, and Warm During Fall Travels
Loungewear is the easiest way to dress for travel. It’s functional and comfortable. Perfect for running through the airport or getting comfy in the backseat of the car. Also, great for being on the go as soon as you arrive at your destination. Opt for joggers or leggings to make sure you’re legs are covered and stay warm! Matching sets are my personal go to! I also love mixing and matching them.
An absolutely must when traveling. I talked about this in my NYFW Packing post earlier this year, sneakers are lifesavers when it comes to traveling. Both during the travel and once you arrive at your destination. They keep your feet comfortable, warm and you on the go all day long!
A Wrap or Blanket Scarf
If the airplane is freezing (which it will be) or the car is just a bit too cold, a wrap or scarf is perfect for pulling over yourself like a blanket. Plus, it works as a legit accessory once you arrive at your destination. Opt for one in a neutral color so you can wear it with everything in your suitcase.
Another lifesaver when travel spaces are just too cold. If you’re feet are cold, all of you will be cold. So making sure your feet are covered is an absolute must! Grab a pair of fuzzy socks or camp socks (these are my favorite).
This one is really all about comfort. You’ll be thankful you have it during long travels when you’re exhausted and need to catch some zzz’s but it’s too bright out. Pull your eye mask down over your eyes and problem solved. Sweet dreams!
