My Favorite 2018 Amazon Purchases

A must cover topic before truly diving into 2019, favorite 2018 Amazon purchases! Because we all know, we all love to get our Amazon on!

Let’s be honest, Amazon is a lifesaver. They also have just about any and everything you could ever want from almost every store. Do I think they’re taking over the world? Yep, basically. But I can’t help but love Amazon. Especially Amazon Prime – that two day shipping is on point y’all! In 2018, I shared a few of my Amazon purchases via Instagram stories and y’all were always all about them. So I’m hoping you enjoy a recap of my top 10 favorite 2018 Amazon purchases just as much! These are items I’ve purchased several times and/or just absolutely fell in love with. All of them I definitely recommend!

1. Brooks Women’s PureCadence 7

Joshua turned me on to Brooks the week we arrived home from our honeymoon and I haven’t turned back since. This was the exact pair I bought and have since purchased the same pair three times. They’re so comfortable, supportive, offer a great amount of flexibility and last! While the color combinations available right now (on Amazon) aren’t my favorite, they’re the best price out there. So Amazon has quickly become my go to place for picking up a new pair when the time comes.

2. Vital Proteins Pasture-Raised, Grass-Fed Collagen Peptides

I tried Vital Proteins in early 2018 and when I ran out just kind of forgot to ever order more. That was until I started FASTer Way to Fat Loss. Some days I need way more protein that I can get in with meat or eggs or other food protein sources so another source for protein is a must. Vital Proteins are whole natural nutrition and gluten free, dairy free, preservative free, non GMO, and hormone free. Aka lot cleaner than most protein powder out there. I also don’t notice a taste when I mix the Vital Proteins in with my water – which is a huge plus in my book!

I typically have one of these single serving packs a day. Either in a water bottle or smoothie.

3. Exuviance Probiotic Lysate Anti-Pollution Essence

I was originally gifted this product for a collaboration in early 2018. After just a few uses, I was in love! By far my favorite beauty product of 2018. Once I ran out of my gifted bottle I immediately went on a hunt for the best place to purchase the anti-pollution essence online. Surprise, surprise Amazon was the winner. A little cheaper than the other options out there and of course, the quick shipping. I have now ordered two bottles and convinced my mom to buy some for herself (and she gifted it to my sister-in-law for Christmas).

This essence works for all skin types (aging, stressed, sensitive, oily and acne-prone skin) trust me, my mom and I have very different skin types and both absolutely love it! As mentioned above, after using just a few times, I noticed a difference in my skin. It was (and is) more radiant, and hydrated while the product is also working to neutralize the visible aging effects of environmental stressors including harmful pollution.

4. Prince of Peace Organic Green Tea

Straight addicted to this tea. Seriously, I order a box of 100 tea bags every month and a half. Green tea is my drink of choice for the morning and afternoon. Having a cup while diving into my work for the day is just part of my routine. So finding an organic was extremely important to me! The Prince of Peace tea is not only organic but tastes great and comes in individual tea bags. Which is great if you end up only wanting a cup or two of tea. You really can’t beat the price either – $6.58 for 100 tea bags.

5. OLLY Perfect Women’s Multivitamin Gummies

Fun fact: I will not take my vitamins unless their gummies. For some reason I seriously never remember to take my vitamins unless their gummies. I think it is in part because gummies are so yummy that I kind of look forward to them, almost like a treat. Therefore, I only take/purchase gummy vitamins. So far, these OLLY Perfect Women’s Multivitamin Gummies are my favorite. Some gummy vitamins have a lot of calories and sugar, for two (which is how many you take each day) the OLLY Perfect Women’s Multivitamin Gummies have just twenty calories and 3g of sugar. Not too bad!

6. Kopari Aluminum-Free Deodorant

Back story I tried to switch to natural deodorant in late 2017 and again in early 2018. Both times failed. The first one was because the stench never really went away – they say you can have the natural smell from sweating the first couple of weeks when you make the switch to natural deodorant. However, with the one I tried, it never went away and I gave it a real go for 2-3 full months. So I went back to regular deodorant until I came across another kind and gave it a try in the spring. This time, my underarms broke out. So bye-bye all natural deodorant. Finally, I was introduced to Kopari Aluminum-Free Deodorant in September and met my match.

Y’all Kopari Aluminum-Free Deodorant is the real deal when it comes to natural, aluminum-free deodorant. It doesn’t break out your underarms, in fact it makes them smoother. There’s no marks on your clothing. AND the stench that comes with switching from regular deodorant to natural, aluminum-free deodorant comes and goes quickly #praise.

7. 13 of Seamless: Understanding the Bible as One Complete Story

I purchased the 13 of Seamless: Understanding the Bible as One Complete Story as my bible study small group was reading it for our study. Hands down my favorite book we have read. Also, hands down one of my favorite christian books I have ever read. In seven sessions, Seamless covers the people, places, and promises of the Bible, tying them together into the greater story of Scripture. Angie Smith does such an amazing job at summarizing, teaching, and explaining the Bible while also using personal humor, battles, and scriptures meaningful to her, to showcase God’s love and His word.

I highly recommend 13 of Seamless: Understanding the Bible as One Complete Story to anyone wanting to gain a better understanding of the Bible overall.

8. Wool Dryer Balls

These little guys are quite amazing! They softens laundry naturally with no chemicals or synthetics. Which is great for those with sensitive skin (hello, that’s me) and/or babies. Additionally, they shorten drying time and lasts for a thousand-plus loads (like whoa). They replaces dryer sheets and liquid fabric softeners so you don’t have to constantly buy those aka money saver!

9. Sony a7 Full-Frame Camera

My biggest Amazon purchase of 2018. Probably the one I was most excited about as well. I splurged (or I guess you could say invested) on this camera in January of 2018. I was tired of the bulky DSLR camera I had and felt it was time for an upgrade, something new. So I researched for what seemed like forever (really two or three months) and decided on a mirrorless camera.  Overall, they’re lighter, better for travel, and easier to use once you get some practice in. After a little more research, it was apparent that Sony was the best, most affordable option out there. So the Sony a7 Full-Frame Camera was purchased.

Every photo you see on this site or on my Instagram that is taken by Joshua (aka @tanktopphotography) is taken with this camera. Also, if Morgan and I shoot for one another, this is the camera used. I LOVE it and couldn’t be more happy with the switch from DSLR to mirrorless!

10. VAVA Cool Mist Humidifier

It is about time to pull this little cutie out again! Come winter, Joshua suffers from nose-bleeds and my skin gets insanely dry so early last year we decided to purchase a humidifier. It was (and I’m sure will be again this year) a total lifesaver. This one is quiet, sleek, and incredibly easy to use. A purchase we’re both really happy with!

Donā€™t forget, if you ever want to check out what items I’m purchasing from Amazon, I do have an Amazon shop page so you can save and reference!
