Happy Friday y’all! Who’s excited for this weekend? I am! Joshua has been gone all week long (since Monday morning) and I am cheap generic sildenafil citrate SO ready for him to be home. One I miss the guy like crazy and two I click here CANNOT sleep when he is gone. So the need for makeup is super real, making today the perfect time to share my everyday summer makeup routine.
Last summer, I shared my go to makeup routine for everyday as well. However, I’ve added a few new products as well as switched up a couple. Therefore, I thought it was time to share an updated everyday summer makeup routine. Every product included in today’s post I absolutely love and couldn’t recommend more! These are products I’ve used for years or ones that have caused me to retire products I’ve used for years because they are canadian pharmacy generic viagra THAT GOOD.
While this everyday summer makeup routine is 9 steps (10 if you add lipstick) it is still extremely quick and easy. I would say it doesn’t take me more than 10 minutes to put on a full face.
Step 2: jane iredale Dream Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 15 – being fair skinned adding any little bit of SPF is extremely important to me so I love that this tinted moisturizer includes an SPF 15. Additionally, the tinted moisturizer hydrates, prevents water loss, calms inflammation and improves skin elasticity. All while feeling very light! Notice a trend here?
As with the primer, I apply the tinter moisturizer with my finger tips and wait about 30 seconds to a minute before moving to the next step. I use my finger tips as I like the feel of it, feel I am able to use less products, and know my hands are clean – as I wash them right before applying make-up.
Step 3: jane iredale Active Light Undereye Concealer – I shared this last year, but I never realized I needed underage concealer until someone put it on me. Gamechanger! What a difference it makes! Below is a photo of me with the undereye concealer – look how much it brightens and awakens my face.
This undereye concealer from jane iredale helps reduce undereye puffiness while also concealing and brightening dark shadows. Again, a very light product.
And again, I apply with fingertips. Particularly ring finger. This is due to the fact that your undereye skin is the thinnest, most delicate skin on your face and your ring finger is the most delicate finger as it is the weakest finger – fun fact!
Step 4: jane iredale naturally glam eyeshadow palette – personally, I only wear super natural eyeshadow colors. Otherwise I feel too loud and out there – silly, I know. For everyday, I go even softer by typically only wearing the lightest shade on this palette. I cover from lid to eyebrow to widen and brighten my eyes.
For night, a special occasion, or photos for the blog, I will add the second shade in the four of four. I brush that along my eye crease and both corners of my eye – brushing it out and up a bit.
Step 5: IT Cosmetics Eyebrow Pencil – this product is different from the one I shared last year. Last year, I was using a brow powder and gel set. Recently though, I have been using this brow pencil and absolutely loving it. The pencil really allows you to fill in your brows while looking very natural with the way the strokes appear.
After apply, I typically brush them out a bit – to make them appear a little more natural and lighter – with the brush end of the tool.
Step 6: jane iredale PRESSED POWDER – this pressed powder is a weightless formula with SPF 20 sun protection that gives your skin a sheer, semi-matte finish. Additionally it is designed to your skin, only better, and gives you the benefits of a foundation, powder, concealer and sunscreen all in one. The appearance of pores and fine lines are minimized, while light-diffusing properties make your skin look flawless, healthy and younger. A win all the way around!
I apply with a chiseled powder brush all over my face and sometimes my neck as well.
Step 7: Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick Compact (Nectar)– This is a product I have used for years and years while still receiving compliments almost every single time I wear it. It is SO good! The shimmer creates a soft glow while the mix of shades creates the perfect color to brush across your cheeks.
Focus on applying shimmer on the top of cheekbones where light naturally hits the face.
Step 8: Urban Decay Make Up Setting Spray – a newer addition to my routine. I never really understood the benefits of setting spray other than it possibly helping your make-up last longer. So I never purchased the product or worried about it. Thankfully, Urban Decay came to my rescue and sent a bottle of their All-Nighter Make Up Setting Spray – since then, my life has been changed. Okay, maybe a little dramatic but my make-up life has definitely been changed!
This product gives makeup serious staying power. Keeps your makeup looking gorgeously just-applied for up to 16 hours – without melting, fading or settling into fine lines. With Temperature Control Technology this setting spray actually lowers the temperature of your makeup to keep foundation, eyeshadow, blush and concealer in place – even in hot and humid or cold and windy conditions. Again, life changer!
Before applying mascara, spray across your entire face.
Step 9: IT Cosmetics Superhero Mascara – Another favorite product! This does in fact have superhero powers! It creates super length, super volume, and super fabulous lashes. The only mascara I have used for over four years now.
