Answering 2019 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale FAQs – be fully prepared for the sale prior to it kicking off!

The 2019 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is quickly approaching, and the catalog for the sale was released a little over a week ago! So I figured what a great way to end the week – shopping the catalog! I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is my favorite sale of the year! There really isn’t another sale out there that offers such great discounts for the upcoming season. Or one that is as exciting in general! Today, I wanted to prepare y’all for the sale and share a little guide. Telling you everything you need to know about the #NSale for 2019. So you can shop it like a champ and get everything you want! OKAY, WHAT IS THE NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE?

Most important question, right? The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is Nordstrom’s biggest sale of the year — seriously, it’s crazy!  What this sale does is allow you, Nordstrom customers, to shop new arrivals for the upcoming Fall season at discounted price. You also have the ability to do this before they’re open to the public to shop! Online you will see the discounted price as well as what the original full price will be once the sale is over. You seriously feel like you’re getting such a deal and it’s because you honestly are!

WHEN IS THE 2019 NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE?

This year the sale is open to all Nordstrom cardholders for Early Access: Friday, July 12 – Thursday, July 18.  If you are not a Nordstrom cardholder, you can receive access to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale on Friday, July 19 – Sunday, August 4. This year Nordstrom added an Icon Status and with that you receive ultra early access starting Tuesday July 9 – Thursday July 11. WHAT KIND OF DEALS CAN I EXPECT?

Well the goodness is you can go ahead and take a peek at them today, in the NSale catalog for both women and men! This catalog, one shows you some of the items that will be included in the sale and two provides you with an idea of what can of deals you will receive. 

Majority of the time you can save around 25%, 30%, and on some items it may even be more! There are items included from all departments including shoes {which is a huge spot to save!}, denim, home decor, handbags, women’s clothing, men’s clothing, kids clothing, and more! I typically use the sale to purchase shoes and a great handbag for the fall season. Those are usually kind of investment pieces so purchasing them during the sale really helps! 

SO HOW CAN I RECEIVE THIS EARLY ACCESS TO THE NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE YOU’VE MENTIONED?

If you are a Nordstrom cardholder {there is an option to do a credit or debit card}, you receive early access to the sale to shop as mentioned above. What this means is you have the ability to shop ALL of the items before the public can! This Early Access to the sale begins July 12, 2019, while public access begins July 19!  I honestly HIGHLY recommend this as popular items sell out FAST. It happens every year!

WHAT WILL YOU BE SHOPPING FOR?

As mentioned above, I typically use the sale to stock up on fall footwear and a fabulous handbag for the new season. However, the last two years I have been let down in the handbag department and ended up not purchasing one. Each year I did however find some fabulous footwear. So I 100% plan on that happening again this year. I’m on the lookout for a great pair of neutral leather loafers – very chic, simple. Additionally, I another free people crochet cardigan if it’s included – I have worn that to death and y’all comment on it every time I wear it. 100% would recommend scooping up for yourself if it’s included! As well as a great pair of pants. I don’t really know what style I want but want a great pair I can wear when I’m over wearing denim. Aside from that, maybe some loungewear and athletic wear.
