Sharing my recent amazon purchases from the last several weeks – the good and the not so good!

At the beginning of the year I shared my top ten favorite 2018 Amazon purchases. It was a big hit and lately I’ve been in quite the Amazon kick so I figured why not share those purchases with y’all. Because let’s be honest, who doesn’t love Amazon? Lately, it’s been all about Amazon fashion. By that I mean, I have ordered several dresses from Amazon and been very pleasantly surprised with most of them. My absolute favorite is the one you see above. It’s also the dress that just about every blogger has and after ordering I totally see why! I’ve also purchased a few things for our new home and a few other random things. So let’s dive in…

R.Vivimos Long Sleeve Floral Print Midi Dress

As mentioned above, this is my favorite clothing item I have purchased from Amazon. I finally caved and ordered it after hearing so many bloggers rant and rave about it. I was sure they were blowing smoke but nope, the dress is in fact amazing! Comfortable, lightweight, adorable, and super flattering. Of course, I ordered the dress in blue which I think is sooo pretty and perfect for the summer season.  But if blue isn’t your thing or just not your favorite color, there are 17 other color options! I’m thinking of grabbing the light pink as well – it’s so sweet!

I would say the dress fits tts – I am wearing a small and for reference I am 5’4” and 118lbs. 

MINCL Heart Shaped Sunglasses 

Probably my second favorite purchase and definitely my most worn one! These cuties are under $10 and just about the most fun thing to wear ever! They may not be your husband’s or boyfriend’s favorite thing but oh well, men just don’t get style sometimes! I scooped them up in tortoise and white. Definitely find myself wearing the tortoise more often but will say the white pair has darker lenses. Therefore, I reach for those when I’m going to be spending a full day in the sun. 

The sunnies come in 7 different color variations. Including a really fun, sassy red pair! 

IRIS Metal Garment Rack with Wood Shelves (White and Light Brown)

If you follow me on Instagram (which you should!), you saw this beauty on my story earlier this week. I had, had this garment rack on my wish list for probably about a year but wanted to wait until we purchased a home to place the order. Luckily, it lived up to all the hype I built up over the year haha. It is the perfect size, color combination, and offers a great about of storage. 

The garment rack comes in a variety of options – 1 shelf, two shelves, 2 shelves with side panels, and multi-shelves. I have the multi-shelves option in the white/light brown combo. It is also available in black/dark brown. 

NERLEROLIAN Summer Casual Midi Dress

To be super honest, this was my least favorite purchase from amazon. I just did not find this dress to be flattering on me at all! And the craziest part is Joshua LOVED it! Which is hilarious as several of the reviews on the dress talked about husband’s loving the dress. How funny is that? 

If you want to give it a go, the dress comes in 11 different colors and fits very tts. 

Pretty Garden Striped Sleeveless Striped Jumpsuit

If there was ever a jumpsuit made for us blue and white lovers, this is it! I mean, is it not the cutest thing ever?! The jumpsuit is suuuuuper lightweight, comfortable, and breezy. Perfect for hot summer days! Above, I dressed it down a bit with simple white slide sandals but it looks equally (if not cuter) dressed up a bit with espadrilles wedges. 

I would say the jumpsuit fits a little big and has a long waist. I ordered a small but definitely wish I would have gone with x-small. My recommendation is to order down one size or if you’re in between sizes go with the smaller one. Also available in grey, pink, green, and black + you can get it as a romper vs. a jumpsuit. 

PRINCE OF PEACE ORGANIC GREEN TEA

Straight addicted to this tea. Seriously, I order a box of 100 tea bags every month and a half. Green tea is my drink of choice for the morning and afternoon. Having a cup while diving into my work for the day is just part of my routine. So finding an organic was extremely important to me! The Prince of Peace tea is not only organic but tastes great and comes in individual tea bags. Which is great if you end up only wanting a cup or two of tea. You really can’t beat the price either – $6.58 for 100 tea bags.

GAMISOTE  Floral Short Sleeve Print Mini Dress 

My most recent Amazon fashion purchase. Ordered this little cutie after seeing it on Liz Adams – she’s my favorite blogger and I am constantly influenced by her! This dress is definitely on the shorter side – so I would say if you’re on the taller side, you may want to skip this one. Additionally, the dress is pretty see through so it does require a slip or to be worn as a cover up – which I think it is perfect for that. Above, I’m wearing a little white cotton slip under it. 

The dress is available in nine colors and also another variation which is available in five different colors. I would say it fits pretty tts. A few of my girl friends also bought it (we’ll be sharing it next week on instagram, if you want to see them style it as well) that are a little bustier and said it does pull a bit across the chest/buttons. 

Brita Water Bottle Filter Replacements

Earlier this year I worked with Brita® to try out and share their I worked with Brita and have been hooked ever since. It is literally the best water bottle ever as it filters the water as you drink it. Truly genius and perfect for when you’re on the go or traveling. The filter does need to be replaced every two months – hence why I’m purchasing the filter replacements haha. But it is so easy to do and they’re very reasonably priced! 

This is a purchase I would highly recommend – the water bottle and the filter replacements. The water bottle comes in seven different colors and a stainless steal option. 

ECHOINE Spaghetti Strap Button Down Swing Midi Dress

A great everyday, casual dress for the summer. Lightweight, comfortable, and could easily be dressed up a bit with espadrille wedges, a knotted headband, and little straw/wicker clutch. 

Comes in the most insane amount of colors and patterns! 25 to be exact. As well as a long sleeve version – great for the upcoming fall season. To me this dress fits the most tts out of all of the dresses mentioned in today’s post. It is also a true midi length. 

Canon EOS 6D Mark III & Canon EF 50mm/1.4 Lens

My biggest purchase of the year thus far (minus our house, of course ha). I started out blogging with a DSLR camera but made the switch to Mirrorless last year with a Sony a7. After using the Sony for a couple of months I realized I really didn’t like the look of mirrorless images. It’s not that the images were bad, they just weren’t the creamy look I was after. So I decided it was time to switch back to DSLR. This time before making a BIG purchase, I spent some time researching and asking fellow bloggers what cameras they had used/are using and love. About 90% said a Canon of some sort so I decided that was the route I needed to go! I finally settled on the Canon EOS 6D Mark III and am SO happy with the purchase!
