White after Labor Day – YEP, I’m here for it! I’ve chatted about this before but I have a deep love for white tops. Instilled in me by my mother, white tops are something I find myself loving, purchasing and wearing more and more as the years pass. Sure the crisp, clean color is perfect for the dead of summer. Beautiful to wear at the beach (just ask every family that has done white family portraits…at the beach – sorry I just had to) and while on tropical vacations. But the color is also great for the other three seasons! Transition white into fall with your favorite pair of jeans + booties, a great pair of wide leg chinos + loafers, or a corduroy skirt + OTK boots.
So in case you’re like me and always looking for the next white top to add to your wardrobe, today I’m sharing 5 white tops and sweaters for the fall season.
5 White Tops & Sweaters for Fall
1 – Everlane Silky Cotton Lantern Top (under $60) – the top I’m wearing in today’s post. A great lightweight option to wear now and then later into the fall season under oversized sweaters, cardigans, and jackets.
2 – Anthropologie Georgia Cowl Neck Tunic ($120) – the type of sweater you live in all fall! Cozy, cute, and goes with everything. Pair it with jeans, leggings, work pants, or even your favorite lounge pants while hanging around the house.
3 – Everlane The Poplin Belted Top ($60) – how chic is this white top? Definitely the dressiest of the five. Perfect for date night or wearing to the office. The best part is you can remove the belt and have a completely different top. One that’s a little more casual and will give you a totally different look when paired with the same items.
4 – Target Long Sleeve Ribbed Cuff V-Neck Pullover Sweater (under $20) – A classic wardrobe must have! Great for tucking into your favorite jeans, pairing with booties, and maybe throwing on a moto jacket if it’s a little chilly out. Or pair with a corduroy skirt and pull on a pair of OTK boots to dress it up.
5 – Everlane Texture Cotton Crop Cardigan (under $100) – currently on my wish list, I am completely obsessed with this cardigan! Perfectly oversized while also being cropped so it doesn’t overwhelm – such a winning combination. Not to mention it looks incredibly cozy! A great piece to wear over the tops on this list or even paired with the Target Long Sleeve Ribbed Cuff V-Neck Pullover Sweater for extra warmth.
