Metros Other Woman

Metros Other WomanSo just to warn you, this post is about to get serious! For the most part I try t0 keep the posts on Louella Reese light, fun, and easy to read. I don’t dive too much into my personal life minus a little here and there about the fiancé and weekend plans + a couple interesting facts here or there. It’s not that I don’t want to share more with y’all, trust me I love to talk and share my feelings, as my family and Joshua would be happy to tell you! It’s more about the fact that I don’t know what y’all are really interested in hearing. If you simply want the focus to be on fashion with a couple recipes mixed in or  if you’d like to know more about the gal behind the blog. {I’d love to hear from y’all about what you’re interested in and what you want to see here on Louella Reese more often}

With that said, I’m going to tell you a little more about me and a recent experience {meltdown} I had. I know I am not alone when I say there are NOT enough hours in the day. Legitimately I think I could use another 5-10 hours each day to get everything I want and need to get done. There’s the gym, work, blog, errands, time with Joshua, time with family, time with friends, me time, Scandal & Nashville, and all those ohhh so fun house chores. Seriously all I can think about as I write this right now is my room REALLY needs dusted + there’s 30+ things on my desk right now I need to organize.

Basically what I’m saying is life is overwhelming and sometimes we get flustered, frustrated, mad, or upset over the fact that we cannot complete everything on our list! All of these emotions were flooding my days a little over a month ago. I began to question whether I could keep this blogging thing up! I didn’t feel like I had the time to focus on it with adding wedding planning on top of everything else. This little feeling started making me ask myself some pretty sad {aka dumb questions} was I even “good enough” to keep blogging, was my material interesting enough, was it worth my time, and when was I going to focus on things I wanted to do to help my blog grow when I didn’t even have time to do all the posts I wanted.

Lucky for me Stephanie from Metros Other Woman contacted me right when I decided to take a step back. We had met at an networking event I spoke at a couple weeks back and thankfully she contacted me at just the right time for a little collaboration. She explained a little more about Metros Other Womanhow they started, what they do, and asked how they could help me! {Hallelujah!}

Metros Other Woman helps make your life easier, simpler, and less stressful. They help with running errands, business services, house keeping, personal services {think finances, mailing items}, organizing {closet cleaning}, and more.

Stephanie and I met up for a little chit chat to find out what services would benefit me most at this crazy {stressful} time. Without even having anything 100% decided I felt a tiny weight lifted off my shoulders after just 20 minutes of talking to her. Stephanie paired me up with DJ to help in a couple different areas. We focused on some help with wedding planning, my Pinterest, and my Twitter. Pinterest is an area of blogging that I seem to always forget about and have never truly focused on. Therefore I was SO far behind and hadn’t pinned a blog post on there since early summer. After emailing back and forth with DJ, she reassured me she’d catch up my Pinterest, take control of my Twitter for a couple days, and collect some wedding information for me. Another tiny weight was lifted of my shoulders.

On my desk, blogger desk, blogger desktop, desktop style, assistant services

Take a look at my Twitter & Pinterest {lots of wedding pins happening right now}

DJ killed it! She pinned 40+ images off my blog, planned 15+ tweets a day for over five days, and sent a collection of wedding information. I basically took the biggest sigh of relief when DJ emailed me about all that she completed. Her doing this allowed me to take a week long break from stressing about some of the additional aspects of blogging. Metros Other Woman absolutely helped me take the breather I needed while removing some serious stress. What DJ did may seem like a breeze to y’all but those things take soooo much time to complete and organize. Again it freed up time for me to breath, refresh, and get back to my passion while being full replenished with passion for it! Also just a little side note – thank you to all of you, my readers, for sticking with me and following Louella Reese! You’re support means the world to me and none of this would be possible without y’all! Your comments, emails, and continued support keeps me going and reminds me why I love doing this so much.
