Nashville Food Guide

Welcome back to Monday, no I’m not that excited about it either. Let’s hope for a quick and easy day so we can be well on our way to Tuesday. To add a little excitement to your Monday, I’m sharing the places my mom and I ate while in Nashville last month. I’m also sharing a couple places I ate at during my previous vista to country music city! I have to say that Nashville does it right when it comes to food. They have some pretty neat places that offer an awesome variety of delicious goodness!

Our first stop on Saturday when we arrived was Merchants Restaurant for lunch. I had actually ate here on my previous vista and had such a tasty meal I knew it was a great spot to take my mom to. It’s also right on Broadway which is where all the Honky Tonk’s and touristy shops are. So it’s a good place to head to first and kind of get all of that touristy stuff out of the way! If you’re going to eat on Broadway though, Merchants is the place! It has this vintage feel inside with black and white tile floors, dressed up servers, and shoe shine. Their Moscow mules are on point too!

The next day we spent some time exploring the Gulch area where there are a variety of shops and little restaurants. I knew from my last visit that I absolutely wanted to have brunch at Biscuit Love. So my mom and I made it happen. This is one of those places where they don’t take reservations and people line up out the down and around the corner to eat at. We were some of those people and it was totally worth it! My mom ordered a skillet {see below} and I had a biscuit sandwich with egg + sausage. Both were absolutely amazing! Oh and mimosas too, of course. They also have these biscuit donuts that we ended up not ordering but had serious order envy when we saw them at the table next to us. So if you go, definitely get a plate of those for the table!

On our final day we stopped at my favorite dining spot in Nashville {that I’ve been to}, Pinewood Social. This is probably one of the coolest restaurants/bars I have ever been to. The decor is vintage with a bit of a glamour touch to it. There is a bowling alley, cafe, airstream bar, and a pool. How stinking cool is that? If you are in Nashville, Pinewood Social is a MUST hit spot! Also, order the hummus it’s incredibly!! The fried broccoli too! Nashville Food Guide, Nashville Foodie, Places to Eat in Nashville, Blogger Food Guide, Nashville Guide to Eating

A couple honorable mentions would be Rose Pepper and The Pharmacy. I stopped at both of these places on my previous visit and absolutely loved them both. Rose Pepper has by far the BEST margarita I have ever had. I tell people this all the time but it’s completely true, I’m a total margarita snob. I know some of you reading feel the same and let me tell you the margarita at Rose Pepper will not disappoint you!

The Pharmacy is a really fun stop to go with a group of friends. They have a huge selection of burgers, a really cool outdoor biergarten, and a great variety of floats {root beer, orange soda}.

If you’ve been to Nashville, what are some of your favorite spots to grab a bite?
