How freaking cute is this romper? While in Charleston for The Blog Societies Conference in August. Emily and I spent our last day walking Kin St. We had hit all of our favorites and were about to stop for dinner when we spotted this adorable romper on a manikin on the street. We followed the arrows down a hall, up the stairs, and down another hall. I’m going to be honest, we were about to give up BUT then spotted Sassy Shortcakes. Thank goodness we didn’t throw in the towel and head back to King St. Otherwise I would have never found my bridal shower look {more on my bridal shower to come next week}.

While this isn’t the typical white dress for a bridal shower or what I was really looking for. The second I tried it on, I knew this was the right look for me! The romper ended up matching the venue perfectly {which was kept a surprise from me} as well as my mom’s dress. I couldn’t have been happier with it! Again, as I’m learning lately, it’s fun to step out from what you’d typically wear or what is “tradition”. I continue to be pleasantly surprised when I do!
I know summer is wrapping up and you’ve been seeing lots of fall looks from bloggers, I promise I’ll join soon. Summer is still in full effect here in Charlotte and dressing for fall is a little difficult when it’s 90+ degrees. So if you’re still experiencing summer as well, here’s a little inspiration for the last couple of days/weeks we have left.
