Can y’all believe we’re even mentioning fall right now? I seriously cannot. As always, Summer absolutely flew by. How and why does that always happen? While I LOVE Fall and call it my favorite season, I am just not ready to say goodbye to Summer this year. Therefore I’m going to make the transition VERY slowly. One way I plan to do that, is to hold on to florals. While florals are worn all year long, they always bring a sense of Summer to me. This floral button down shirt from Evy’s Tree is the perfect example. It’s long sleeve, making it perfect for the cooler temps Fall brings but the bright, cheerful pattern screams summer. Don’t you agree?
Since I am still dressing for summer at the moment, I paired the shirt with wedges, a pretty pink bag, and a floral silk scarf. All of these accessories play up the summer vibes. While the denim provides the extra warmth needed for cooler late summer, early fall evenings.

Come fall, I will switch things up a bit! I’ll say goodbye to wedges and add a great pair of loafers or riding boots. Additionally, I’ll trade the pretty pink handbag out and go with a classic satchel or very fall-esque tote. To top off the look, my go to utility jacket.

Pants: Stripe Overalls, White Sneakers, and Simple White {or pink} Crossbody
