Memories Are Made When Gathered Around The Table

Celebrate love with Maggiano’s Little Italy and hear about one of my favorite traditions.

I think we can all agree that food brings us together. Whether it’s a birthday celebration, an anniversary, family Sunday brunch, or a proposal. We gather around the table to connect with one another. Whether we mean to or not, those times also create memories that last a lifetime. Those meals are fond memories, ones we reach for often when remembering family and/or good times. We look back at the delicious food that was shared and loved ones that surrounded us. Love is truly at the heart of every one of these celebrations/events.

With that said, I want to share an incredibly sweet contest that is currently being held by Maggiano’s Little Italy. This contest is in an effort to celebrate love and focus on those special memories we create, gathered around the table.

If you aren’t familiar with Maggiano’s Little Italy their a Italian-American restaurant with a warm and friendly atmosphere. They have the MOST delicious classic and contemporary dishes. Think authentic pastas, signature salads, fresh seafood, and prime steaks. Oh, and my favorite, Crispy Zucchini Fritté. Maggiano’s Little Italy also serves family style meals {did this for both proms in high school} and beautiful banquet spaces for special occasions.

I also, wanted to share a stories of how I’ve celebrated love with Maggiano’s Little Italy and the sweet memories the restaurant has given me.

My first time dining at Maggiano’s Little Italy was in middle school. My mom and I had came to Charlotte from Cary, NC for a little shopping {if you didn’t know, Charlotte had WAY better shopping options back then}. After a FULL day of shopping, we stopped into Maggiano’s for dinner. My mom and I split the Crispy Zucchini Fritté for an appetizer. Then ordered our individual entrees. We shared everything we purchased that day {even though we were with each other all day} and talked about the fun we had together.

This meal at Maggiano’s became a tradition. Every time we visited Charlotte we would stop into Maggiano’s for dinner. And if we were too tired from shopping, we’d order carry out. No matter what, we always ordered the Crispy Zucchini Fritté appetizer though!

Due to this tradition and the memories created at Maggiano’s Little Italy each time, the restaurant will always hold a special little spot in my heart. There is nothing more special than the relationship of a mother and daughter. With each meal, we celebrated that relationship and our love for one another! I love you Mom, you totally deserve a banquet celebration at Maggiano’s! {I know she’s reading this}.

  11. I used to really love Maggianos. I would get their gnocchi all the time. Then one day the hubs made gnocchi and it was not done right. so now i can’t think about maggianos without thinking about bad gnocchi even though i didn’t have bad gnocchi there. I know — that’s weird. I should give the restaurant another chance, lol. Also, I love your bag!
