First, sorry for the slight radio silence on here yesterday and Friday! The craziness that was February and life in general caught up with me. No worries though, I am back and prepared with lots of spring content coming your way. Some fun home decor and Joshua posts too. So be sure to check back daily for the excitement!
Second, before diving into this full look and talking about the dress, I have to mention this handbag. It was one of those instant see and buy kind of situations. Upon laying eyes on this beauty, I immediately thought of my grandmother and a handbag she use to have, that I now carry here and there {see it here}. The handbag in today’s post reminded me of it and I knew my grandmother would have purchased it, so I had to! Especially since Louella Reese is partially inspired by her.

Y’all spring fashion is my favorite! I don’t think I truly realized that until a week ago. I have always thought fall was my favorite to dress for but I am finding myself ridiculously excited to pull out dresses, wear brighter colors, and switch up the shoe game. Spring offers more excitement, more color options {in the winter, I feel you stick with just a handful of colors or get stuck on 3-4}, and so many cute handbags {I mean endless straw and basket bag options} + shoes!
Surprise, surprise, I gravitate towards florals comes spring. Yes, I know, florals for spring, how original! But with all the pretty blooms making an appearance, I can’t help but want to match. Plus, florals {when done right} instantly feel fresh and vibrant. Nothing says spring more than a floral dress, am I right?
This navy floral maxi dress may look familiar, as I featured here recently styled for cooler spring days {see here}. While I LOVED that look, I couldn’t wait to ditch the tights and style the dress for full on spring. Also, if you’re still searching for the perfect Easter dress, this maxi would be a great option. It also comes in a pink pattern and black too. P.S. can you believe Easter is less than three weeks away, like what?! !
