Six Spring Wardrobe Staples you need to have in your closet before the season officially begins!
Happy Friday y’all! We are just four days away from Spring officially starting. Prayers Mother Nature acknowledges that! Whether she does or not, I decided we better have our spring wardrobes ready! Therefore, today I’m highlighting six spring wardrobe staples! Items you need in your wardrobe this coming season.
Some of them are pretty basic. Aka I am sure you have in your closet already. While others are a little newer or coming back again after being a big hit last spring season. So let’s dive in…
White Denim Jacket
Most everyone has a classic denim jacket in their wardrobe and I’m sure if you’re anything like me, you reach for it quite often. To spice things up a bit a white denim jacket for spring is a must. The change of color instantly brightens your look and makes you appear a little more dressed up.
Espadrille Wedges
Espadrille wedges have been pretty popular over the last few spring and summer season, and they aren’t going anywhere! Back again this year with so many new options. Close toed, embellished, bow detail, and lace-up.
Espadrille wedges are a great option when looking to take a step up from your everyday sandals. They provide a dressy feel without going full on snazzy like you would with pumps or heeled sandals.
Straw/Basket/Crochet Handbag {one of each would be ideal, right?}
Straw and basket bags were HUGE last spring and summer! Just like espadrille wedges, they are back and stronger than ever! There are so many options out there! If you’re new to the trend, I recommend picking up a classic straw tote or simple basket bag. Choose one under $50 to test out the trend and make sure it’s right for you!
If you have been a long time fan of the trend, pick up another one or two this spring season. Try one with a little excitement! Maybe a bright color, fun tassel, unique shape, or the one you’ve been eyeing since last year!
Easy Loafers {neutral color}
I swear, you will live in them! They’re a great alternative to your go to sandals or flats. They provide a sweet preppy vibe and elevate your look a bit. Opt for a pair in a neutral hue so you can get the most wear out of them!
Floral Print Dresses
Floral for spring, original I know {as I mentioned in this post ha}. There’s no getting around it, florals are a must when it comes to the spring season. Especially dresses! Everyone is excited to have bare legs and trade their jeans for dresses. Join the fun and pick up a few floral print dresses in varying lengths. As you can see, I’m a big fan of the maxi dress this season!
Cute Sneakers {in white or a pastel color}
Okay, who knew sneakers were just going to become more and more popular with each season? Not me! Sneakers were once a shoe I only reached for to work out in. Now, I’m grabbing them more times then not. Though they do look different than the pair I workout in haha.
You can’t go wrong with a great pair of white sneakers! With the spring season, a pair in a pretty pastel color would be perfect. Opt for a color you wear often, maybe pink or blue {that’s what I would choose}. That way you’re more likely to wear them and they’ll add a nice little pop of color.
