Happy Thursday y’all! Who’s ready for another summer weekend? Also, can you believe this weekend is Father’s Day? 2018 is flying by! This weekend we’re heading to Asheville to celebrate a friends engagement and spend the day exploring. Then Sunday we’re celebrating Father’s Day with Joshua’s dad. What are y’all up to?
On to today’s look, as stated above, I’m in a southern summer style mindset thanks to Draper James. Draper James and the brains behind the brand, Reese Witherspoon are the epitome of classic southern style with an extra side of playful. Reese Witherspoon has also been a style icon of mine for YEARS! That’s who Reese, my pup, was named after. So to say I’m a fan of the brand would be a massive understandment. Everything I’ve worn from the brand have become favorite pieces of mine! Like this sweatshirt with a sweet message and this super feminine, playful blouse. Also, I have one of their handbags and have worn it to death basically {see most recently here and here}.

Today, I’m styling a classic white button down shirt with a feminine, playful twist. And the perfect sweet navy and white embroidered skirt to take you through all of summer. Seriously, I’ve already worn it three ways since receiving it! Once like today’s post {obviously haha}, once with a basic white tee shirt and sneakers, and another time with this adorable striped tee and espadrilles. Definitely a versatile piece!
If you’re in between sizes I would recommend sizing down on the skirt. I am typically a size 2 or 4, ordered a 4 and could have totally worn a 2 comfortably.
In the blouse, I am wearing a size 4 and it fits perfectly. The other blouse I have from Draper James is also a size 4 as well. So I would say tops are really consistent in sizing with Draper James and TTS.
So get in the southern summer style mindset and scoop up some sweet pieces from Draper James! This dress is currently at the top of my wish list! I mean ALL of the heart eyed emojis!
