So I have come to realize that Valentine’s Day is one of my favorite holidays – definitely top three, maybe top two but I think my husband may disown me if I say I like the hallmark holiday better than Fourth of July haha. While my love for Valentine’s Day and celebrating with Joshua runs strong, my love for Galentine’s Day runs even stronger!
Did you know Galentine’s Day is now an official holiday? February 13th is the official date to celebrate with your gals! Which let’s be honest, we do not spend enough time celebrating our gal pals. Maybe once a year on their birthdays or that yearly long weekend girls trip. Otherwise, they’re mainly there to support, listen, grab a drink or meal, or binge watch our favorite show with us and vice versa. I absolutely love the concept of Galentine’s Day – but since I don’t have many girlfriends, I have never celebrated. Though last year, another blogger and I did put together a fun styled shoot for the day – so maybe that counts? Maybe one day I’ll get a chance to really go all out. I love your card and gift ideas!
