WHERE I WENT

Memphis, Tennessee – with Pettigrew Adventures! You can read all about the ultimate girls weekend in my Memphis Tennessee Travel guide. I will say, I 100% recommend Memphis and plan on heading back there with Joshua later this year or next spring.

MOVIES WATCHED

Knives Out – By far one of our favorite movies we have watched! A fun, modern-day murder mystery where everyone is a suspect. From the dysfunctional family to the devoted staff. It is a very witty and intriguing whodunit guaranteed to keep you guessing from start to finish – even when you think you’ve figured it all out.

RECIPES TRIED

The YUMMIEST Brookie cookies

WHERE WE ATE

El Valle x2 – our neighborhood mexican restaurant. We went here early in the month and also ordered to go once. We are truly obsessed with El Valle and even with takeout they never disappoint. I am sure we’ll be ordering take out a couple more times during the stay-in-place order timeframe.

WHAT I WATCHED

Still watching This Is Us, Riverdale, and Dynasty. And still feeling the same as I did last month about all three of them. This Is Us and Dynasty are thriving, Riverdale not so much. We also still watching Deputy and loving it! Joshua also started watching Homeland – I’m watching it a bit but not totally into it.

FITNESS UPDATE

Still partaking in the macro and fasting part of FWTL. Very strict on the low carb days, not so strict on the other days. Have definitely changed up my workouts with working out now being at home or around the neighborhood. May actually be doing more working out now! Getting outside everyday is helping me stay sane for sure!

So many good home purchases this month! Love, love, love the chairs you got for your living room! We were given the gold frames as a house warming present and they’ve been collecting dust for MONTHS – April *will* be the month I finally get pictures for them and get them hung up!

    • I just read someone else’s blog post talking about Mexican food and now I’m craving it all over again haha. Hate that all of your go-to spots aren’t going to go orders. That stinks! Hope they are doing okay and able to come back after all of this!
