WHERE I WENT

Wake Forest, NC – We went for the weekend to visit my dad, siblings, and nieces + nephew. It was so nice to see them as we hadn’t since February. Lots of time around their houses and exploring my brother’s new little town by foot.

Wisconsin – We flew to Wisconsin for Joshua’s uncle’s wedding celebration. I chatted a bit about this trip in a post last week. Along with tips for traveling during Covid-19

MOVIES WATCHED

The Kissing Booth II – The sequel to probably one of the cheesiest teen rom-coms but I loved every minute of it! If you loved the first one you’ll love the sequel just as much. If you haven’t watched either yet I definitely recommend them when you’re looking for a feel good movie. Or when you’re wanting to feel like a teen again!

RECIPES TRIED

High Fat Protein Packed Bark
Zucchini Bread

WHERE WE ATE

We actually didn’t eat out at all while home. Once while in Wisconsin but otherwise cooked at home or had meals at family members.

WHAT I WATCHED

I continued watching Council of Dads – so good! A really great wholesome show. Reminds me a lot of Parenthood and Brothers & Sisters. Would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a new show to watch! I think it is over for the season so a perfect time to binge.

FITNESS UPDATE

Still doing  FWTFL for the most part – sticking to low carb days and the intermittent fasting. Back to working out regularly and it feels so good. Looking to spice things up a bit more with at home workouts. Will be sharing via Instagram stories if you’re looking for new work outs!

It sounds like July was a really good month for you. I loved the first Kissing Booth movie and have had the second one on my list for a while – good to know that it was as good as the first! Off to watch it now 🙂
