This weekend I met up with Corbin from The Classy South blog for my first blogger date (woohoo!). She was here in Charlotte visiting for the weekend so we decided to meet up and have a little photoshoot. After both recently purchasing lace shorts and dying to wear them they became the item to style. We had a total blast talking about all of our blogger shenanigans, how much our photographer’s just love their jobs, and our love for Moon and Lola. This gal is such a blast and I’ve already planned my trip to Boone for our next blogger date.

Corbin went a little dressier with her red blazer and incredible C. Wonder clutch that I told her I’m absolutely in love with. These shorts are the most comfortable thing! Definitely felt like I was wearing my pajama shorts out and about and I didn’t hate it one bit 🙂 I went pretty casual with my look pairing the lace shorts with a polka dot chambray. I had the hardest time deciding if I liked the shirt better tied up or down so I played with that a bit, trying out both looks. Mixing it up even more I added another pattern with my new Sole Society clutch that I’ve worn nonstop all weekend. It’s seriously the perfect size!  Fits all of the necessities and I even used it as a little pool bag this weekend.  I have to lace I’m really loving lace shorts and how they can easily be dressed up or down.
