Dark Side of Tie Dye

Dress: Presley Skye (sold out, shop similar below)| Clutch: Versona Accessories | Heels: Sam Edelman | Earrings: Kendra Scott | Ring: Gorjana via RocksBox | Link Bracelet: Moon and Lola | Bangle: Vintage | Sunglasses: Tory Burch

When I brought my Versona navy clutch home I was so excited to play around with it. To see what all I could pair the clutch with. Originally I was focused mainly on denim but ended up wearing it with dresses the first two times. The clutch is even more versatile than I had thought when making the purchase. I loved the way the clutch made my coral blazer pop even more in  Tuesday’s post and today it really pulls out the darker hues in this tie dye dress.

This dress is a perfect example of buying something because you like the pattern or color even though you may not love everything about it and making it work for you! This dress originally had a high-low hem and although it may look gorgeous on some, I am not one of them. After wearing it once or twice and realizing it just wasn’t the right look for me, off to the tailor’s I went. Tailoring this dress to have an even hemline gave it a fancier feel and I now feel a lot more confident wearing it. I can tell you this dress will definitely make it out of the closet a whole lot more now! Don’t be afraid to tailor an item to make it work for you!

P.S. Have you entered the Versona Gift Card Giveaway yet from Tuesday’s post yet?
