A Day at the Flower Market

Finally sharing the sweetest little blue embroidered shift dress that I’ve been posting to Instagram and IG stories all month!

If you follow me via Instagram or IG stories, you know I have had a HUGE thing for flowers and plants this season. Basically I cannot get enough of either. Joshua and I have made several trips to Lowe’s, Pike Nurseries, and Blackhawk Hardware this summer. Since we’re renting and only plan to be here for another year, we aren’t planting anything outdoors. Therefore, inside of our townhouse, as Joshua likes to say, we are living in a jungle. We have a variety of plants and I’m adding flowers almost weekly! Who doesn’t love fresh flowers though? And having a home full of plants (it’s not as intense as it sounds) really does create a more cozy, homey feel. Which I am loving!

Aside from all of the plants + flowers in today’s post, this dress is my current favorite. Aka I am obsessed! I’ve been wearing the dress for a variety of occasions…church, date night, meetings, and more. The dress is so easy to wear and just about the sweetest thing ever!

One of the best parts about this dress is it’s under $100. Which I think it pretty great when shopping for dresses! Sure you could scoop up 4 dresses from Forever 21 for the price of this dress. BUT this dress is quality! There is a great lining and the embroidery detail is beautiful. This dress will definitely hold up season after season. I can promise you, I’ll be wearing it all summer long and for many summers to come.

I also think this dress would be great for mama’s to be. It’s one of those dresses that will allow for belly growth! While also being a dress you can wear before and after having a little one. Again, a great purchase!

You are seriously the prettiest! I have been dying to go to a flower market but they’re not easy to find (at all) in ny!

I definitely would love to spruce up the backyard with some flowers but my house is under construction and I feel like the inside of my home needs to be better before I could work on the outside! Lovely dress babe

Thank you so much gal! It really was so fun to shoo there. I will definitely be doing it again soon. Absolutely keep it up! It took me quite a few tries before things continued to live haha.
