Let’s talk about when late summer officially hits and the perfect casual late summer outfit to wear, once it does!

Happy Tuesday y’all! Even though I am no longer in school {and have no children in school aka no children at all} I still feel summer starts to come to a close once the school year kicks off. Which for those here in Charlotte that is just under two weeks away! Plus once September hits sometimes Mother Nature takes it down a notch and the afternoons aren’t so blistering hot {and humid}.
I probably sound like I’m blabbering, which maybe I am haha. BUT what I’m trying to say is once mid-August hits, I start to say it’s late summer. Are you with me on that? Or does late summer hit for you once September arrives? And once late summer hits and those cooler temps arrive, I am all about pairing shorts with sweaters and cardigans. There’s just something about the combination I absolutely love. Are you a fan of it?

Today, I’m styling another favorite from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. It was a last minute purchase and by that I mean I didn’t purchase immediately, realized I wanted it, it sold out, and I stalked it like crazy till it came back in stock. While it was back to full price now, it is totally worth the extra. This ultra cozy chic cardigan! A perfect piece to wear now over tanks and tees temperatures start to lower. Then wear right into the fall and winter seasons with long sleeves and pull over sweater underneath. The cardigan comes in a variety of colors too – mint, cranberry, black, and coral.
Trust me when I say you’ll be seeing LOTS of it throughout the upcoming seasons.
