As all girls know there are times when you just crave chocolate. Yes sometimes it passes and that Greek yogurt is able to satisfy you but then there’s other times when you just HAVE to have Chocolate. You need that fix. Well today I NEEDED to have chocolate. There was no option, there was no substitute. So with an effort to be someone healthy while getting my chocolate fix (which I wanted in cookie form) I decided to mix up my own little creation.
I started with the 2 – Ingredient cookie recipe I’ve come across multiple times on Pinterest, two bananas and rolled oats. Of course I had to add the chocolate, I used dark chocolate chips! Then decided to add a few other things – a scoop of vanilla whey protein powder, chia seeds, and ground cinnamon. The base of these cookies really allow you to play around and customize to your own personal cravings.
My Recipe – Ingredients:
1 Cup Rolled Oats
2 Ripe Bananas
1 Scoop Vanilla Flavored Whey Protein Powder
1 Tablespoon of Chia Seeds
Few dashes of Ground Cinnamon
Dark Chocolate Chips – I added until I was satisfied
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Mix mashed bananas and oatmeal together well
Mix in protein powder, cinnamon, and chia seeds
Stir in chocolate chips
Grease baking sheet
Place tablespoon size drops of “dough” on sheet
Bake for 15 minutes
Place on cooling rack and enjoy!
