Rainy Baking

Yesterday was an extremely rainy day which doesn’t seem right, Monday is rough enough on it’s own! Getting out of bed to make my way to work was pretty rough I must admit it took quite some time for me to finally drag myself downstairs to make breakfast and get my day started. Then pretty much all day I couldn’t wait to come home, change into my sweats, and watch The Voice (yeah I live an exciting life). With the rainy day and the fact that it was Monday I decided I really deserved a sweet treat so a quick trip to Trader Joes was made. I decided to try the two ingredient cookies I made previously but mix up the ingredients a little. I went for a trail mix kind of cookie but obiously still had to include a little chocolate!


Ingredients: 
1 Cup Rolled Oats
2 Ripe Bananas
1 Scoop Vanilla Flavored Whey Protein Powder
Few dashes of Ground Cinnamon
1/4 cup Dried Cranberries
1/4 cup Golden Raisins
1/4 cup Chopped Walnuts
1/3 cup Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Mix mashed bananas and oatmeal together well
Mix in protein powder, cinnamon, and chia seeds
Stir in dried cranberries, golden raisins, chopped walnuts, and chocolate chips
Grease baking sheet
Place tablespoon size drops of “dough” on sheet
Bake for 15 minutes
Place on cooling rack and enjoy!
