With two gift cards burning a serious hole in my pocket I stopped in Banana Republic to see what goodies I could find. I knew the gift cards didn’t have too much on them so I stuck strictly to the sale rack, not wanting to spend too much more. As always Banana Republic did not disappoint, not only were their sale racks overflowing with great pieces but they also had an extra 40% off sale items, jackpot! I pulled one dress, three shirts, and two necklaces. I walked out with this black and white top and royal blue statement necklace. After using the gift cards the total came to $11.60. I know I’m like most girls when I say I was feeling pretty proud of the money I “saved”.  Tuesday I showed you how I’ve dressed down this shirt with denim and today it’s all about dressing it up with my favorite skirt! As you can tell from these two posts I think this top is going to become a real go to piece for me, maybe high waisted shorts next.
