Independence Day Inspiration -

With the World Cup going on and 4th of July right around the corner I thought a little red, white, and blue outfit inspiration was in order. I know I’m personally super psyched about the 4th of July! Spending time with family and friends, grilling out, cruising around the lake (or beach), fireworks, and I’m sure a few cool drinks – what’s not to love?!

This week I’m sharing two different red, white, and blue looks. Whether you are looking for Independence day or a World Cup viewing party ideas either of these looks will work for a casual get together with friends and/or family.

Today this simple chambray and white chino shorts mix is easy to pull together and two items I’m sure you have in your closet. Add in a few fun accessories like this smaller statement necklace, a lightweight scarf (in case it gets a little cooler at night), and these playful bright red shoes. These shoes from Sole Society are my favorite! The color is so much fun and as you can see totally transforms an outfit. Not to mention they’re incredibly comfortable and have cute lace detail around the ankle to add a little excitement to the otherwise classic cut of them.
