For some reason I’ve never thought yellow was my color. It was kinda on the don’t wear list. This had nothing to do with me not liking yellow, I love it, it was more about me thinking I have very fair skin and blonde hair. For those two reasons I thought yellow was a no no for me. Until probably a year ago when I bought this skirt from Nordstrom. A whole new world opened and yellow made it’s way into my closet.
While shopping at Anthropologie a couple of weeks ago I was on a huge yellow fix picking up this incredible neon embroidered top and a stripe one that I’m sure I’ll be sharing with y’all soon as I cannot get enough of either of them.
Bottom line gals don’t put a color on your don’t wear list until you’ve really tired it. Try multiple shades, patterns, tops, and bottoms. You never know what will surprise you and turn out to be one of your favorite items in your closet! This neon top is definitely one of mine!

Wowee! What I love most about this outfit is that you could have stopped with just the top and still achieved a bright summer look. However, with the additional boldness of the blue necklace and bag you've managed to make it so much more striking pretty easily, whilst also maintaining its wearable nature! Great post 🙂 x
Hannah, thank you so much!! You are the sweetest, I appreciate your comments 🙂
