September Instagram

I thought August was a whirlwind HA!! September definitely has August beat. September flew by but looking back also feels like the longest month ever because boy there was a lot going on!

For the blog so many exciting new collaborations and friendships! I know I’ve said it before but I love the blogging community, everyone is incredibly kind, helpful, and fun. Anyways, the blog had two awesome giveaways with Bindya NY and Versona Accessories. Congrats to Alex N. and Kristin V. for winning those! I was also connected with Orange Harp and was able to test out a few skincare products from one of their brands, HANA Organic Skincare. This is a fabulous company, if you missed the post last week I definitely recommend checking it out and hearing more about Orange Harp. Josh and I were able to attend a social media NASCAR event at the Sound Garage where we met a few of the drivers on the Chip Ganassi race team and country singer Cassadee Pope. Oh and Corbin from The Classy South finally talked me into joining Twitter so Louella Reese is officially on Twitter. Way behind, I know! Lots more collaborations coming up next month with local companies, an online women’s custom clothing store, and more! Definitely stay tuned for a few more giveaways too.

Personally it was a busy, busy, busy month! Full of weekend getaways, UNCC football, country concerts, and lots of delicious food. I’ll talk about the food first because who doesn’t love to indulge in some savory meals and sweet treats?! The must mention meal this month is brunch from the Brownstone in Boston. Best. Brunch. Ever. Since I already described it in intense detail 🙂 here, I’ll just go ahead and say crunchy cornflake french toast.  Seriously if you’re in Boston you have to have brunch here!

Josh and I started the month off at my favorite place, his lake house, soaking up the summer sun. Then the craziness started! The first weekend we had a Jason Aldean concert Friday night and the first home UNCC football game Saturday afternoon (we won, woohoo!). That next week I had a business meeting here in Charlotte for three days uptown where I had the opportunity to show my coworkers Charlotte and all of it’s glory. Then it was off to Boston for the weekend with one of my best friends where we visited two of my good friends from college and had the time of our lives (read about it here). The following weekend we were off to Atlanta to celebrate the marriage of my cousin and his gorgeous new wife. It’s always a good time seeing family, getting to catch up, and introducing Josh to more of the family. In case you’re wondering, they liked him 🙂 In between all that there were meetings for the blog, lunches with old friends, a beauty event at Nordstrom, and some shopping of course!

My favorite month, October, will be full of football games, weddings, and a few exciting weekend getaways! Follow @LouellaReese on instagram to see what all I’m up to!

What are your plans for October? What kind of fall like things are you doing?
