You may remember this poncho from Wish List Wednesday a few weeks ago. Well it did not remain on the wish list too long. This was one item I could not pass up! It’s cute, unique, comfy, and under $40, what’s not to love about it? Nothing I tell you 🙂 nothing! 

Originally I wanted to pair the poncho with my favorite flannel but the temperature ended up being a little too warm for that so I settled for my favorite stripe top. I loved the contrast of these two pieces and how the blue in the stripes brought out the blue in the poncho more. I actually ended up reversing the poncho as it’s shown on the website with the cream color facing out. I’m sure I’ll be wearing it that way as well but I love how the red side makes more of a statement! This is a must need item in your closet y’all! It’s perfect for fall and truly feels like your wearing it as  a blanket (which I did at the restaurant the night I wore it!).
