Plaid + Fair Isle

Scarf: Zara | Sweater: J.Crew {old, shop similar below} | Skirt: J.Crew Factory | Boots: Hunter | Watch: Michael Kors | Earrings: Tiffany & Co.

Since I’ve worn my red Zara plaid scarf to death {and will continue to} I decided it was necessary to add a new one to the wardrobe. I absolutely cannot get enough of these blanket scarves! The coziest of cozy. If you haven’t made the dive yet I absolutely recommend it! Zara currently only has a few online but ASOS does have quite a few {I also found a few below for y’all}.

So today is #MMLinkup and the theme today is Begin Again. With the New Year it’s time to press refresh and change things up a bit! This year I want to play around more with my style, mix more old with new, and take more chances. Recently I’ve noticed my preppy side coming out more and I’m not hating it! I don’t want to stick to any rules or one particular style but instead mix it up – have more fun. I’m sure it’ll be more entertaining for y’all too! This outfit is a little out of my norm as I’d typically never pair my Hunter boots with something a little more dressy like this skirt and sweater combo but I have to say this is one of my favorite looks. Playing around, pays off!

This is the fourth link up {December, November, & October} hosted by Corbin from The Classy South and myself. Be sure to scroll down further to see how to join and check out other bloggers! Thanks sweet gal! Since the gray skies don't seem to be going away anytime soon I figured some bright hues and boots were necessary! Hope you have a wonderful week as well. Thank you for joining the link up!

  5. WOW Laura you look gorgeous and seeing you wearing your green Hunter Wellies makes me very happy, I've been wearing my black Huntress Wellies a lot lately I hate getting my Tights splashed when it rains and I always get a feeling of reassurance when I've got my Wellies on.
