So it seems here in Charlotte Spring has finally arrived! Fingers crossed it decided to stick around and not go disappear on us again. While the days feel amazing in the 60s-70s {80 yesterday!} the mornings and evenings are still a bit chilly but honestly I kind of like that. It’s a great way to ease into the warmer days and wear a few of your lighter layers {like yesterday’s look}. One of my favorite parts about Spring is switching out my shoes and purchasing a few new ones.
I have to say first off that I am hard on my shoes. I mean BRUTAL. I really don’t know what it is or how it happens but almost immediately they have marks on them, heels are ripped, and if they’re wooden there’s a gash somewhere before I take them off for the first time. It’s honestly really sad! I’m absolutely trying to be better but with that said I definitely have a hard time spending a lot on shoes. For the most part I stay around $100 or less {usually less} with the exception of one or two. These Sam Edelman ankle booties were one of my exceptions and I haven’t regretted it for a second! They are by far one of my favorite purchases and I cannot wait to wear them with breezy dresses this Spring/Summer. Also these Charlotte Olympia flats have been on my wish list forever so if I ever do decide to take the plunge I will be treating them with extreme care 🙂 What’s one or two shoes on your Spring/Summer wish list?
