Summer is all about the basics. Having classic versatile pieces that you can mix and match for easy looks. Lightweight fabrics, neutral colors {with a few brights thrown in}, and tailored cuts with a little room for breathing in the summer heat. For guys the lightweight fabric is a definite must and keeping simple makes it easy to pack for weekend trips for weddings or vacations with the guys {or girlfriend}. Some summer must haves include a comfy tee that can be worn with a pair shorts and laid back boat shoes but looks just as good dressed up with a pair of chinos for dinner. To take the chinos up a notch a linen shirt {throw on the blazer for a dressier occasion} or a washed gingham shirt that can both just as easily be  paired with the shorts.

A baseball cap is a must have {probably year around, especially if you ask Joshua} accessory. Throw in a watch or two. Whether you have one that you were everyday or one for more special occasions, a watch is definitely a nice touch and adds a little sophistication. How great is this flask? To finish it out a weekend bag is a must to carry all your looks, accessories, and whatever else you decide to bring along for a little summer adventure.
