Can you believe Thanksgiving is right around the corner? 10 days to be exact. How crazy is that? October absolutely flew by and it seems like November started just yesterday. I hate how the holiday season always flies by. Halloween, Thanksgiving, {my birthday}, Christmas, and New Years are here and gone in a flash. Finding the perfect look for each one can be a bit of a challenge and for some of us fashion obsessed, slightly stressful. Luckily, for the most part Thanksgiving is more of a casual event. When eating a weeks worth of food in one sitting no one wants to be constricted in something tight or stiff. Thanksgiving is all about being cozy and wearing something that covers the food baby that arrives once the last bite of pumpkin pie is placed in your mouth.
This combo is my ideal look for the feast. Tell me the color combo doesn’t scream Thanksgiving + fall season?! Burgundy, green, and neutrals + a little leopard. This cozy sweater is perfect for lounging on the couch recovering from your food coma. I love all of these items together and separately they’re all classic pieces you could build your fall/winter wardrobe with.
Every year for Thanksgiving I’m in charge of the dessert {shocker, I know}. We aren’t huge fans of pumpkin pie in our family so I typically whip up something different. Pumpkin is almost always involved though. Here’s one recipe I’ve made a couple years that was a huge hit!
What are your Thanksgiving plans? Must have dishes? I’d love to hear and possibly try out some of your favorites. Share below in the comments š
