A couple weekends ago my mom, sister, and I headed to Roanoke, VA for a little gals getaway. Going away with the two of them is always one of my favorite ways to spend a weekend. There are endless giggles, amazing food, a glass of champagne or two, and of course a little shopping involved. I know you’re probably thinking “why Roanoke?”. Well it’s a pretty funny reason actually! My mom and I one Saturday afternoon became hooked to this tv show called Salvage Dawgs where they go into homes that are about to be torn down and take out all that is salvageable {hence the name}. Then they create furniture, art, and/or sell it to people to put in their new homes. What they do is absolutely incredible and the pieces they create are amazing! So their shop is in Roanoke, VA and we decided we HAD to go check it out. So we did 🙂 It did not disappoint and I absolutely recommend making a little weekend getaway to see it as well. Roanoke itself is full of fun little shops, yummy restaurants, and in the fall some absolutely beautiful leaves! If you want recommendations let me know!
This anorak jacket was perfect for layering when going from day to night with the temperature change. I love it with this tee and scarf with all the pattern mixing! Also decided to throw in an extra pattern because why not? haha. You can basically never go wrong with leopard so I threw on my old favorites. I actually just ordered these Monday to replace my Steve Madden pair as I felt they were looking a little worn and faded. I had to actually put the old ones in the trash to make myself purchase a new pair {I’m ridiculous}. Happy ALMOST Friday!
